Lithuanian Lawmakers Designate Russia's Wagner Group As 'Terrorist Organization'

Lithuania's parliament -- the Seimas -- has designated the Russian armed group Wagner PMC, which is fighting in Ukraine, as a "terrorist organization." The resolution approved on March 14 said fighters from Wagner "pose a threat to state and public security." The parliamentary resolution alleges that since the beginning of the war Wagner troops have been committing "numerous crimes," including killing and torturing civilians and hitting civilian targets -- which could be equated with terrorism.
