Funeral For 'Bright And Positive' Mother Killed In Russian Drone Strike Near Kyiv

Mourners gathered in Bilohorodka, west of Kyiv, for the funeral of Svitlana Chernovol, who was killed along with her partner when a drone hit their residential building. Her neighbor, an RFE/RL correspondent, had rushed to her apartment to save the victim's four-year-old daughter from the fire. Friends remembered Chernovol as a kind and supportive person who loved working with customers at her beauty salon.
