Poroshenko: "Mr. Zelenskiy, I can acknowledge that you're a talented actor and producer... and you have produced an interesting product. It's very important that our discussion has begun."

"But all these tens of thousands of people have a right to know about their future. But so far, besides empty phrases, they have heard nothing from you. From your answers, they understand that you continue living in the past, that you're ready to spread lies. And that you're going to continue what you began on the channel owned by your partner Kolomoisky. Who gave you everything to enable you to take over our country. Our mission is to defend the country against you. You're not riding on trams and buses. You're a cheerleader of oligarchs. And you've hidden your tax returns. What are you hiding?"

"We haven't heard your strategy. I want to appeal to Mr. Zelenskiy's supporters. On April 21, we need to look into the future, and think seriously about how not to give in Putin and the Kolomoiskiy types. We can't play games during presidential elections, because the stakes are higher than ever. The war against Russia cannot be led by an actor, who is talented but completely unqualified for the post."

"Thank you for your support. I will accept whatever choice the Ukrainian people make. And on April 22, we need to unite to defend Ukraine together."

Each candidate has been given more time to make a brief final remark.

Poroshenko: "Are you ready to do everything to make sure that your partners, like Kolomoisky and others, don't access the national treasury and financial system?"

Zelenskiy making final remarks: "It's true that Mr. Poroshenko has achieved a lot. The language, the tomos (charter for an independent Orthodox Church of Ukraine), the military.... But somehow I feel that all of these achievements belong only to you. But I believe that the Ukrainian language existed before you. Visa liberalization [for travel to EU countries] is the victory of our diplomats and diaspora. The tomos is a victory for Ukraine, and of [leader of one of the main Ukrainian Orthodox churches] Filaret. The efforts began when you were still a pious visitor of the Ukrainian church of Russia. The military is the heroic act of Ukrainian volunteers, the people."

"I believe that we will be able to come and break the system. This mentality. we'll be able to bring a new, 21st century mentality."

"All of your people...have stolen five years from us."

Poroshenko: "We need peace. We must end the war. The key to peace is not in Kyiv, but in Moscow, in Putin's hands. We need to continue building are army, to defend our language, our nation. How will you, who has belittled Ukraine with your jokes, calling them poor peasants of Europe, how will you defend the country?

Zelenskiy: "When people were dying on the Maidan, I appealed to Yanukovych to leave.... Whereas you told Putin that you'll kneel, but don't make Ukraine kneel."

"But I'm ready to kneel before every mother, every widow who has not had her son or her husband return," Zelenskiy says, and kneels.

"It's not so easy to be a simple person...."

"You're accusing me of [doing] business with Kolomoisky - name an example."

"You've been in parliament and other posts. But how long have you been an oligarch?"

Candidates now making final remarks.
