Iran is feeling the impact of a drought that has lasted for more than five years. Satellite images comparing last November to this one show lakes and reservoirs shrinking to a small fraction of their former size. Officials are implementing plans to ration water in Tehran, while some experts warn that mismanagement of resources has exacerbated the crisis.
